This is a wonderful strategy game. Through the course of playing, you can adjust your disease to eventually infect the entire world. The fact that you can name your plague adds to the fun factor. My husband has mastered the game and wipes out the entire population of earth every time he plays it, but still creates new diseases and plays more because it's just that fun. The game is designed so that you really have to think about the traits and symptoms you add or subtract, as they will effect spread, and whether or not the disease is detected and cured. It teaches about vectors, and how the most deadly diseases do not necessarily kill their hosts outright.
