Voyager: Grand Tour

Voyager: Grand Tour is a physics puzzle game inspired by one of the most successful scientific missions in human history. For more than 35 years, the Voyager space probes have been on an incredible quest to explore the Solar System, uncovering amazing details about the outer planets and beyond. This game enables players to experience that legacy, marrying detailed 3D graphics and realistic rocket science with a casual-friendly controls and approachable design. The result is a game for people who love space travel, and space travel for people who love games!

-Try to achieve the perfect planetary flyby by aiming your launch to slingshot around planets, avoid real hazards, and discover authentic rocket science techniques

-Includes dozens of challenging missions set in every corner of the Solar System: soar over barren Mercury, through the majestic rings of Saturn, or into the distant, icy realm of Pluto

-After a successful mission, experience your flyby from Voyager’s point of view with a first-person replay, and save your favorites in the Gallery to show your friends

-Free to play, with optional in-app purchases for more content, including the “Deep Space Network Mission Pack” (extra-challenging levels for true rocket scientists) and the “Probe Variety Pack” (additional probe skins, including fan-favorites Cassini-Huygens and New Horizons)

I am a biochemist, making games to teach the invisible bits of cell biology.

I really like this game. It is simple to start playing, tough to master, and rewarding when you succeed. It demonstrates to the player what kinds of considerations a rocket scientist has to think about when launching a a space probe.
