In addition to the core ‘externality’ problem, You Change It! captures unequal gains, pollution, and damages by income class, asset erosion (natural and physical capital), international equity issues, and has options for catastrophic risk, a carbon tax, and an equal per-capita dividend policy. This comprehensiveness is made possible by accompanying software that processes playing card choices into outcomes. It is simple to administer, and requires just one computer (for the instructor), a jumbo die, and the original playing cards (6 to 30+ players).
