Kerbal Space Program

The game is currently under heavy development. This means the game will be improved on a regular basis, so be sure to check back for new updates. Right now, KSP is in Sandbox Complete state, but we want you to try it out and have fun with it. The Demo version is free to download and play, and will remain so forever.

The KSP Team is strongly committed to the project, and we are always listening for feedback from the players.

Played this far too much

This is a game I played way too much, I have like 200hrs on it on steam. I love the idea of building your own rockets and getting far far far away. It encourages creativity but if you want to be successful you have to combine actual engineering techniques and its a blast to surpass yourself on previous runs. This is a huge timesink, I cant stop myself.

This game is extremely complex, high school students or college students really. This game is about engineering and rocket science. You don't need a ton of prerequisite knowledge to get started but to get anywhere you really have to try and actually research techniques that will help you succeed in leaving the galaxy. This game is not something you can play on a short burst or a game where you can pick it up in a single class, this is a long game and rewarding due to its game design. I cant wait for the sequel.

This game is really a one of a kind game, theres nothing really like it. The closest game I would say is banjo and kazooie nuts and bolts but that game didnt have the detail as Kerbal Space Program. For banjo and kazooie n&b you create vehicles to solve whatever your goal is at the moment, where as this game your first goal is to launch your rocket off the ground, then its get to the moon, then its progress further beyond the moon where the smallest detail could cause your rocket to explode and killing your astronaut. Its hyper intense. This game wouldnt be playable in a classroom setting without heavyhanded assistance from someone who knows what they are doing.

The Kerbal space program is a great game. The open world is very big and there are a lot of possibilities. You can fly to the mun, build ISS, build your own rocket or ssto. You can use science method to build rockets. There are many interesting scenarios. In game there are a three modes: career mode, science mode and sandbox mode.I liked the sandbox mode because nothing stops you to do what you want. The Kerbal space program is a beautiful game.l recommend you to play.
